A letter from Our Chair
I am writing this from a very snowy and scenic North Worcestershire, Christmas films on in the background, ponies and alpacas snug and warm in their stables and the dallies curled up in their baskets. So, putting the finishing touches to the 2018 schedule seems the right thing to do – albeit spring seems a long way off.
To get you started we are hoping to have a social activity in January and February – we will confirm this as soon as possible. The Competition Rules workshop will be held on 23 February, 7.30 for 8pm start at Lincomb Equestrian Centre Club House – £5 per person and tea/coffee/biscuits will be available – bring your own snacks/beverages if you want more – See Schedule attached.
The equine start to the season will the Long Reining on 11 March either at Stourport Riding Centre or possibly Lea Castle Equestrian Centre – TBC so put this date in your diary. We are also planning a Trailer Training and Tidy (TTT) day. This will be a good sort out and tidy up of the trailers, refreshing resources and potentially a session on safe loading, hitching up and reversing to encourage more people to be available to pick up the trailers for the 2018 season. More details to follow in the New Year.
