Belvoir Trial with Midlands Carriagedriving (was MDTG), Sat/Sun 31st May/1st June 2014
It was a lovely cool morning for a change. Just right for the ponies to enjoy the exercise whilst their drivers and grooms found their way around the 21 clipper stations.
Once again we enjoyed the hospitality of Carol and Ivan Meredith and the quiet lanes in lovely countryside around Elmley Lovett.
The 7 participants all took it seriously. I understand that not one stopped for an ice cream at Cutnall Green post office!!
Julie Wedgbury just posted the best score, finding all 21 locations in the best time.
Thanks to Ivan and Carol, Sandra Philips, Linda Sprosen and Tony Bache for their help, and to Sue Anderson for “clearing the course”.
A new and partly off road venue is sought for next time.
